NKOTB - The Return

After 15 years we could not believe what ours eyes saw & our ears heard – the NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK WERE BACK!!! The writing was on the wall – another chapter of our lives was about to begin... Going back to those innocent days where our “only” reasons to cry was begging for our moms to go to a New Kids On The Bock Concert, spending all of our allowance buying posters, magazines, Picture albums, Cds & DVDs (well, vinyl record & cassette tape back then) & other tons of New Kids On The Block stuff. Everybody is grown up now... some have kids... some are married... some went to all the New Kids On The Block concerts in Brazil... & some are still waiting for this ever treasure moment to happen. The reasons for crying now have several different aspects - instead of begging for our mom to go to a concert, some of us have to beg for our husbands to do it so – hahahah! On the other hand spending our allowances is not allowed anymore, even because we don´t have them anymore. Instead, we have to give our kids allowances & save our own money to possibly buy any of their stuff or go to a concert. The hysteria doesn´t exist anymore, but the love remains stronger than ever, & this time it came with lots of loyalty, respect, support, caress, trust, friendship & much more love... Blockheads worldwide & NKOTB have been building such a strong relationship since 2008, when they announced their return... of course we still name ourselves as Mrs. Knight, Mrs. Wahlberg, Mrs. Wood & Mrs. McIntyre, but it just turned out to be a way of feeling part of this real family – a family built by the fate!

Danny Wood, Donnie Wahlberg, Joe McItyre, Jordan & Jonathan Knight... our gratitude for each of you is everlasting! You´ve touched our lives in a very positive way & for many different reasons... you´ve tauch us to have more self-love, self-respect & be more self-confident. For every line you sing in every song there´s a story that has to do with our lives...

The NKOTB Reunion brought us hope & faith for better days, took us back to wonderful fairy tales ... & showed us that every thing is possible if we just believe...

Após 15 anos não poderíamos acreditar no que nossos olhos viram e nossos ouvidos escutaram –os NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK ESTAVAM DE VOLTA!!! A escrita estava na parede – um outro capitulo de nossas vidas estava prestes a acontecer.. voltando àqueles dias de inocência onde nossas “únicas” razões para chorar eram implorar para nossas mães deixarem que fossemos aos shows dos New Kids On The Block, gastar toda nossa mesada comprando pôsteres, revistas, álbuns de figurinhas, CDs e DVDs (bom, LP e fita cassete no passado) e mais outras toneladas de coisas dos New Kids On The Block...

Todo mundo está crescido agora... algumas tem filhos... algumas são casadas... algumas foram em todos os shows dos New Kids On The Block aqui no Brasil... e algumas ainda continuam esperando por esse momento tão precioso acontecer. As razões para chorar agora tem vários aspectos diferentes – ao invés de implorar para nossas mães para irmos a um show, algumas de nós, temos que implorar para nossos maridos – hahaha! Por outro lado, gastar nossas mesadas não é mais permitido, até mesmo porque não as temos mais. Ao invés, nós temos que dar mesadas aos nossos filhos e economizar nosso próprio dinheiro para possivelmente comprar qualquer coisa deles ou ir à algum show. A histeria não existe mais, mas o amor permanece ainda mais forte e desta vez veio com muita lealdade, respeito, apoio, carinho, confiança, amizade e muito mais amor... Blockheads do mundo inteiro & o NKOTB tem construído uma relação muito forte desde 2008, quando eles anunciaram seu retorno... é claro que ainda nos consideramos a Sra. Knight, a Sra. Wahlberg, a Sra. Wood e a Sra. McItyre, mas isso tornou-se apenas a maneira de nos sentirmos parte desta família verdadeira – uma família construída pelo destino!

 Danny Wood, Donnie Wahlberg, Joe MacIntyre e Jordan & Jonathan Knight... nossa gratidão por cada um de vocês é eterna! Vocês tocaram nossas vidas de uma forma muito positiva e por muitas razões diferentes... Vocês nos ensinaram a ter mais amor-próprio, mais respeito-próprio e sermos mais auto-confiantes. Para cada linha que vocês cantam em todas as músicas, tem uma historia que tem haver com nossas vidas...

O retorno do NKOTB nos trouxe esperança e fé por dias melhores, nos levou de volta à maravilhosos contos de fadas... e nos mostrou que tudo é possível se nós acreditarmos...
